Here's your chance to finally
design your own favorite piece of clothing!!
You can use any of the
pre-made clothing on here as ideas, or you can come up with your
own idea all together.
All
custom made clothing can be made with recycled corduroy and varied
cotton blends. I can also use hemp, or organic cotton upon
request, and availability at the time.
The more specific you are about exactly
what you would like, the better! A few things you will need to let
me know are fabric you'd like used, general (or specific) design,
i.e, simple (one or 2 colors) uniformed/ patterned patchwork,
chaotic patchwork, etc), whether or not you would like any pockets
or appliques, and ofcourse your size.
How to measure yourself
For Pants & Shorts:
I will need your waist size, and your
outseam.
I have found that the easiest way to measure
for new pants or shorts is to measure an old pair that you already
have and that you like the fit of!
*For WAIST: Measure in inches around where
you like your pants to fall (hips, waist, or somewhere in
between!). I usually like to make that area 2-3 inches more than
what it actually is. If you're measuring an old pair, measure the
waist all around.
*For OUTSEAM: Measure along the outside of
your leg from the very top of the pants/shorts to the very bottom
hem.
For an Apron Top:
*For BUST: Measure around your chest,
holding the measuring tape across the fullest part of your bust.
Make sure you're holding it nice and comfy and not too tight! Do
not wear a bra when taking this measurement.
*For LENGTH: Measure from right underneath your bust (where the
bottom of your bra would sit) to where you want the shirt to end.
For a Drawstring Skirt:
*For WAIST: Measure around the fullest part
of your hips, this way I can make the waist accordingly!
*For LENGTH: Measure from where you wear your skirt to where you
want the skirt to stop.
